| Description |
BAND-IT Clamps and ties are also used to attach canisters, such as filters, drier/ receivers or air bag inflators to brackets or other structural members. Bands are very flexible and easily conform to odd shapes. They are vibration resistant and eliminate bolts, nuts and washers. Canisters can be very thin walled because the need for welding. This eliminates the associated high rejection rate due to burning through thin walls. Reparability without welding is a further advantage of using clamps as fasteners.
